Things You Need To Look Before Joining A MLM Company

  • Are There Any Lawsuits And Complaints Against The Company And The Founders (Company History & Founders History)?
  • Are They Offering High-Quality Products With Affordable Cost?
  • Low Cost To Join (Investment).
  • Success Ratio – Income Disclosure Statement.
  • Straight Forward & Easy To Understand Compensation Plan.
  • Find & Read Some Genuine/Unbiased Reviews On That MLM Company.

One Important Thing I Noticed On Some Review Posts

Nowadays the people who promote the product and program also write reviews and give them high ratings. If the product and program are really good there is no problem with it but just to recruit and sell products there are many biased reviews.

So not all the reviews are genuine and you need to be careful while making your decision by reading the reviews online. However, there are genuine and unbiased reviews as well. You need to do some homework before making your decision.

Also, check on the reviewers credibility and his/her experience etc.

By doing proper research you can find legit and genuine programs and stay away from scams. I appreciate you for taking the time to do your research and finding out more information on Stemtech.

I am in no way associated with Stemtech and I am not trying to sell Stemtech products to you.

Are Stemtech Products Worth Their Price?

Every MLM claims to have great and unique products with great health benefits and Stemtech is no different.

As usual, the products are quite expensive and you can find similar products at a much cheaper price. This is the common issue with most MLM companies their products are very expensive. There is no cost for advertisements so they need to offer at a cheaper price compared to others (open market).

When I did my research on the Stemtech product price I can find similar products on Amazon for a cheaper price with the same kind of benefits. Stemtech products are very expensive.

If we ask them they will say they offer high-quality products but the reality is they are offering high-priced products or overpriced products.

Does Stemtech Product Works?

There are positive and negative reviews on the Stemtech products. However, it all depends on individual experiences.

They have the below statement on their website…

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food & Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Stemtech Lawsuit And Complaints

When I did my research I came to know there are some issues but I just like to share one issue here. Stemtech filed bankruptcy in February of 2017 under chapter 11 then converted it to Chapter 7 in March 2018.

This is not good news and you can read about it HERE.

Pro’s And Con’s

The Good:

→ 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

→ In Market For 12+ Years (MLM)

The Bad:

→ Success Rate Is Very Low With The MLM Business Model

→ Expensive Products

→ No Income Disclosure Statement

→ Filed Bankruptcy In 2017

→ High Competitive Niche

→ To Make More Money You Need To Recruit More People

→ You Are Not In Control

Is Stemtech A Pyramid Scheme?

By selling Stemtech products you can make money so Stemtech is not a pyramid scheme. But the main focus is on recruiting more members.

Is Stemtech A Scam? - This Is How A Pyramid Scheme Look Like

In other words, the vast majority of commissions paid by MLM companies go to a tiny percentage of TOPPs (top-of-the-pyramid promoters) at the expense of a revolving door of recruits, 99% of whom lose money.

Is Stemtech A Scam?

Stemtech is not a scam and it’s a legit company. It doesn’t mean that you need to join a company if it’s not a scam. There are many things you need to look at before joining a company.

Although Stemtech is not a scam I am not recommending it and you can find the reasons why I am not recommending it on the “Some Of The Things I Don’t Like About Stemtech” section.

Some Of The Things I Like About Stemtech

Below are the things I like about Stemtech…

Return Policy

They are providing a 30-day unconditional money-back guarantee and that’s good news. If you are not happy with their products you can return them.

In Market For 12+ Years (MLM)

They adapted to the MLM business model in 2009 and they are in the market for 12+ years. Many MLMs disappear within 3 years.

Some Of The Things I Don’t Like About Stemtech

Below you can find the reasons why I am not recommending Stemtech…

Expensive Products

Will you be interested in buying an expensive product when you can find similar products at a cheaper price?

Are you comfortable in promoting an expensive product to your friends and family members when there are similar products available at a cheaper price?

I believe your answers to the above questions are a big NO. Stemtech products are very expensive and no one likes to buy expensive products. When people realize they can find similar products at a cheaper price they won’t trust you anymore.

No Income Disclosure Statement (IDS)

With 12+ years in the market, I am wondering why there is NO income Disclosure statement. I am not able to find their income disclosure statement (IDS) on their site.

Are they trying to hide how much their Independent Business Partners are earning with them?

By seeing the IDS you can get a clear idea of how much people are making money and losing money with the MLM company. Unfortunately, Stemtech is hiding or not displaying this information which is not fair.

However, based on my research with many MLM companies most of their members are losing money instead of making money.

High Competitive Niche

There are 1000’s of MLMs in the Health and Wellness niche. There are millions of health and wellness products and the competition is very high. That too selling expensive products is really going to be a big challenge.

To Make More Money You Need To Recruit More People

Although you can make money by selling their products, you will make more money when you recruit more people and when you build your team. So the emphasis is more on recruiting and this is the case with almost all the MLMs.

You know what people will run by seeing you and then you will realize what is MLM because they will ask you to start with your friends and family members.

You Are Not In Control

MLM companies sell the dream and they claim you are your own boss but in reality, MLM distributors are commissioned employees disguised as entrepreneurs. You are not in control of your business if the MLM company shutdown or goes bankrupt.

You will lose everything and you need to start again from the beginning.

Filed Bankruptcy In 2017

As I mentioned before Stemtech filed Bankruptcy in 2017 at Florida Southern Bankruptcy Court under Chapter 11. In March 2018 they changed it to Chapter 7. This is not a good sign and I won’t join a company that filed Bankruptcy in the past. I don’t think it will be a wise thing to do.

Success Rate Is Very Low With The MLM Business Model

Not only with Stemtech with all the companies that use the MLM business model the success rate is very low.

A lot of people are losing or making very little money with the MLM business model. Only a small percentage of people will make a good income via the MLM business model.

Success Rate Is Very Low With The MLM Business Model.

For more information, you can read my post “Network Marketing vs Affiliate Marketing – Pros And Cons“.

I am not against the MLM business model and I am not saying you can’t earn money with MLM. All I am trying to say is the success rate with MLM is very less and many people fail with MLM business.

Is Stemtech A Scam? - Success Rate Is Very Low With MLM Business Model

Among the 26% of people who made money nearly 14% made less than $420 a month (less than $5000 per year). So you can see a very less number of people make money via the MLM business model.

Often they are the people who joined when the company started and who have a big team under them and they are on the top of the ladder.

2 thoughts on “Is Stemtech A Scam? Can Stemtech Define Your Future In A Whole New Way?”

  1. I decided not to join it because from your review the chance of succeeding is low. Before reading your review I wanted to join MLM company but based on the information I research on the internet  I decided not to join it. Joining MLM can be challenging because it is about call friends and family members (recruiting) and more.

    Reply
    • Yes, the first thing most MLMs suggest to sell your products and to recruit is to contact your friends and family members. When start to promote the MLM products and the business opportunity, based on my experience, people start running from us or start to avoid us. Most people are afraid of MLM products and the business opportunity and building trust in MLMs is not an easy task.
