Pro’s and Con’s

The Good:

→ 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

The Bad:

→ No Income Disclosure Statement

→ Not Enough Information (About Owners, About Products, Etc.)

→ Autoshipment

→ Not Accredited By BBB

→ The Percentage Of People Who Fail With MLM Business Model Is Very High People Who Earn A Reasonable Amount Of Money Is Very Less

→ Products Are Expensive

→ Not Approved By FDA

To Make More Money You Need To Recruit More People

→ Selling Health & Wellness Products Is Not An Easy Task Via Direct Selling – Heavy Competition

Is Uforia A Pyramid Scheme?

No, Uforia is not a pyramid scheme and they do have health-related products.

Pyramid Scheme

Is Uforia A Scam?

No, Uforia is not a scam. They have health-related products and they also provide you with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

However, I don’t recommend Uforia for the below reasons.

Reason 1 – No Income Disclosure Statement

Success is already rare with MLM and when there is No Income Disclosure Statement it’s a red flag for me.

I have reviewed many MLM programs on this site and trust me compared to the people who are making money people who lose their money are more.

When there is No Income Disclosure Statement it creates a lot of doubt.

Reason 2 – Autoshipment

I hate auto shipment. Whether you have the products or whether you use the product or not, you need to buy their products every month for a value of 100 PV (personal volume).

In order to qualify for your commissions, you need 100 PV and because of auto-shipments, many newbies lose their money.

Reason 3 – Lack Of Important Information

As I mentioned, there is no Income Disclosure Statement, no information on the creators, no clear information on the product and product pricing.

Reason 4 – Not Accredited By BBB

I always prefer to check whether the company is accredited by BBB or not. It’s one of the important checklists on my list and being accredited by BBB builds trust.

Reason 5 – Success Rate Is Very Low With MLM Business Model

Not only with Uforia with the companies that are using the MLM business model the success rate is very low. Most of the time people who are on the top make more money.

Newbies and people on the bottom of the ladder lose their money.

For more information, you can read my post “Network Marketing vs Affiliate Marketing – Pros And Cons“.

I am not against the MLM business model and I am not saying you can’t earn money with MLM. All I am trying to say is the success rate with MLM is very less and many people fail with MLM business.

Reason 6 – It’s Going To Be A Struggle And Challenge To Sell Their Products

As I mentioned earlier, the health and wellness niche is crowded.

Let me ask you…

Will you invest $258.95 for just checking which nutrition supplements are required to your body and then based on your DNA result you need to buy the product. Will you be interested?

What will be the price of the products… Hmmm, you need to complete the DNA test by investing $258.95, and then we will let you know the monthly price you need to spend. If that’s my answer what you will think?

Just to get you an idea… How many of your friends and family members will agree with this concept and go for the DNA test by paying $258.95?

Thanks for reading my review post!

  1. Uforia, another new one based on a relatively new concept – nutrition based on DNA. I wonder to myself how this would beat out the food provided by the Creator. MLM is one of the means used by many health food companies as a means of marketing their products. Most new reps struggle to make a good income with MLM and my experience has been that though my upline offers encouragement, it is seldom that genuine help is forthcoming. I hope that Uforia turns out to be genuinely helpful to the purchasers of it’s product.

    • Thanks a lot for the insights and sharing from your experience adds value to this review. Although the upline is very helpful and motivating the main problem is in the MLM business model, that’s the reason many fail. As you mentioned, the competition is very high in the health and wellness niche.

  2. Many a times people are deceived to join MLM thinking it is a good way to make residual income. Just like you highlighted on Uforia, they are legit but they are not best way to go. I my quest, I followed your number one recommendation all to see that it is wealthy affiliate. That is the best platform to learn internet marketing

    • Often the incentives and the big amount of money we can make with these MLM’s are just in numbers and in their presentation. The reality is different. Based on my experience compared to MLM, Affiliate Marketing is the best one to go with.

  3. Hello Paul, I haven’t heard of Uforia but you have provided a comprehensive review with lots of information. Based on your information, it is an MLM company in the nutrition industry. There are already lots of nutritional supplement MLM companies so I am not sure how the DNA profiling will help as you take supplements based on what vitamins or minerals you lacked. You don’t need a DNA profile to do that. It looks to me that it is just a for them to differentiate themselves. Thanks for the information on Uforia.

    • The health and wellness industry is crowded and there are many MLM companies claiming to improve our health and wealth. For me Uforia is a NO-NO.

  4. Hi Paul, This thing with MLM products scares me a lot! they are so expensive and I can just imagine how it should be sitting there with all these products and no one is buying from me.

And who can sell products like these? I would be afraid if I could not find products like this in my normal store.

I would say it is a scam, a lot of people are looking for the opportunity to make money and it is easy to fall into traps and then have debt and products that are not selling. I thought this method was dying but we will see

    • Thanks for your helpful insights and it makes sense. It’s not going to be an easy task to sell these DNA kits and success is rare with the MLM business model.

  5. It seems that Uforia makes the same mistakes many MLM companies make over promising and under delivering. Even-though it isn’t a scam, it isn’t much better because the products may not give the end users the desired results and of course a lot of hard work may result in little to no income. There are better options than Uforia.

    • Nowadays by just believing the sales page if we make our purchase decision, it might disappoint us. Yes, there are a lot of better options available.

  6. Thank you so much for your review on Uphoria. One cannot be too careful nowadays, there are just so many scams! I have to sort out to a website like yours! Health and wellness is a great niche to be in, who doesn’t want to live forever? I know I do.

I am one of those people that do not like to send my DNA test to the third party lab. God knows what can happen. What if they planted my DNA at the crime scene? I know most of my friends are thinking the same. Maybe we are paranoid too much but hey prevent is better than fixing it.

Also, the MLM business model is not for me. Too much hard work for little money. I rather be writing on my blog. I am going to have to pass.

    • Everyone is interested in health and wealth and that’s the reason both of these niches are crowded. Yes, there are a lot of concerns with data security. As we know cybercrime is increasing day by day. I am not a fan of the MLM business model.

  7. Thank you for providing this review. You seem to have put a lot of research into it, which I’m sure all of your readers will appreciate. I now know that Uforia is not for me. I have a keen distrust of MLMs. Even honest ones require too many social skills that I lack. As far as their products go, I don’t see how DNA can tell someone whether I’m fat and need to lose weight or thin and need to gain weight. There are so many environmental factors that go with nutrition. I don’t believe I will recommend Uforia, either.

    Reply
    • Thanks for the insights and I do agree with environmental factors play a vital role in the nutrition we take. I have tried some MLM business opportunities and realized even with the genuine ones, making money as a newbie is going to be a big challenge.

  8. I am starting to see a lot of new MLM companies that are focusing on this idea of utilizing someone’s DNA to match them with the best weight loss products. Although I am sure that it works, I do not know if you would be able to actually make money using Uforia. I appreciate your review, it is very helpful, I typically look for your thoughts on new websites I find before I jump in! Seems weird that you have to get the DNA test yourself though if you just want to sell the products, that jumps the starting price up a lot.

    • Based on your DNA profile only they will provide you supplements and as I mentioned you need to maintain 100 PV every month to get your commissions. Doing your homework before joining any program is the best way to go and stay away from scams.

Trust me it’s not going to be easy to sell the DNA kit.

I have experience in marketing so I think I could benefit from it. It is important to me that it is not a scam or some type of fraud, thank you for sharing trustful information about Uforia.
