Completing Surveys

By completing surveys you can earn with ZoomBucks. Generally the longer the duration of the survey the more money you will make. However, there are some surveys that will pay more for lesser time. So you need to compare and decide on the surveys you gonna take. See the image below…

You can notice 6500 ZoomBucks points are paid for the survey that has just 9 minutes duration. On the other hand, for 41 minutes survey, only 637 points are paid. So by sharing your opinions and your thoughts you can earn money.

You get surveys from survey routers such as YourSurveys, Dynata, CINT wall, Peanut Labs, Yuno, CPX Research, Revenuewall, etc.

Watching Videos

You can watch videos and you can make money with ZoomBucks. Generally, I don’t prefer this option because in many cases when I made the calculation it’s waste of time. The money you earn with ZoomBucks is very low for watching videos.

Let me explain to you…

With ZoomBucks you need to watch 3 videos that have a duration of 2 minutes on average. Also, you will have ads within the videos (while watching YouTube videos we get ads right, it’s the same). The ad duration might be 30-45 seconds.

So for the 3 videos and ads, you will be paid 7 points. That is $0.007 for 8-10 minutes. For one hour you will receive approximately $0.042-$0.056. Now you can see why I said it’s waste of time.

Doing Offers

Here you are going to download any app, sign up for any programs or service, play games, by completing free trials, etc. So for doing these tasks you will be rewarded with ZoomBucks.

Referring Or Inviting People

By inviting people you can earn money (ZoomBucks Points) with ZoomBucks. Although I can see on my ZoomBucks dashboard on the right top corner “Refer and Earn 500 Points”. However, there is a big challenge in earning 500 points by referring people to ZoomBucks (more on this later).

ZoomBucks Reviews And Complaints

Low Income Potential

The income potential is very low with ZoomBucks. I have worked with 20+ PTC and GPT sites based on my experience if you work for GPT sites let’s say 4+ hours earning $1-$2 is a big challenge. This not the case with ZoomBucks alone it’s the case with many PTC and GPT sites.

You will be trading your time for pennies and it’s better to invest your time in building an online business instead of spending time on GPT and PTC sites.

Although ZoomBucks was launched in 2010. While doing my research I came to know that ZoomBucks was shutdown for a 4 year period and they started it again after a 4-year break. I am afraid whether it might happen again.

Most Beneficial For People Living In Tier 1 Countries

If you are living in the Tier 1 countries your earnings will be more and the number of surveys you get and selected will be more. There is nothing ZoomBucks can do about it when their advertisers prefer people from the Tier 1 countries but for the people who live in tier 2 and 3 countries the income potential is going to be very less.

Let me give you an example from their referrals system itself.

First let me give you the details on Tier 1, 2, and 3 countries as per the ZoomBucks FAQ section.

Tier 1 Countries Referrals

Below are the tier 1 countries.

• United States
• Canada
• United Kingdom

When you refer people from these countries you will earn 250 points for each referral. And that points will be credited to your account only when your referral achieves 1000 ZoomBucks points.

Tier 2 Country Referrals

Below are the tier 2 countries.

• Germany
• Netherlands
• Sweden
• Denmark
• Norway
• Switzerland
• France
• Ireland
• New Zealand
• Japan
• Singapore
• Spain
• United Arab Emirates
• Austria
• Australia

If you refer people from these countries you will earn 150 points for each referral. And that points will be credited to your account only when your referral achieves 1000 ZoomBucks points.

Tier 3 Country Referrals

The countries that are not in the above tier 1 and 2 countries list are tier 3 countries. If you refer people from these countries you will earn 25 points for each referral. Yes, it’s just 25 points and that points will be credited to your account only when your referral achieves 1000 ZoomBucks points.

Can you see the difference the hard work is the same but the output is different. I am really disappointed when I read about this in my ZoomBucks dashboard. So the demographic you live and refer people to plays an important role.

They May Share Your Personal Information With Third-Party Sample/Market Research Companies

While reading their terms and conditions I found the below statement from ZoomBucks…

• ZoomBucks may share your personal information and/or social-demographic information, including, without limitation, a unique identification number (“UID”), postal code, gender, marital status, education, ethnicity/race (where permitted by applicable law), employment related information, and non-personally identifiable information on household members, with third party sample/market research companies (individually each a “Third Party MR Company” and collectively the “Third Party MR Companies”)

So your personal information might be shared with third parties.

Problems In Taking Surveys

Most of the high-paying surveys are available to the first-tier countries. Your demographics play an important role and because of the demographics, many surveys are not available to many. With survey routers, it is very often you will not qualify for the surveys.

Often after answering the pre-qualifying questions or questionnaire they will say that you are not qualified for that survey and you can try the next one. After trying the next one again you can try the next one because you are not qualified. This generally happens with many surveys with many sites.

In the past, with many GPT sites, I have spent hours just taking the pre-qualifying questions or questionnaire alone but earned nothing which hurt me a lot.
