One thing I noticed when MLM distributors talk to people is… The salespeople’s pitch is on the business opportunity and not on the quality of the products. Often they can’t tell consumers how the product works, the specialty, and its benefits.

Higher Joining Price

I came to know that apart from the $105 that you pay for your membership you need to purchase their products to earn more commissions and bonuses. So it’s not just $105 you gonna pay it’s way more than that and it’s not the end of the story there are additional expenses as well (more on this later).

Highly Focused On Recruiting Members

As I mentioned earlier the sale pitch is more on recruiting. When I checked online a lot of people who promote the Digital Prosperity Movement talks about the business opportunity, how much you can earn, the percentage of commission you get, how you can create freedom & travel full-time, etc.

You Are Not In Control

In case, suppose if anything goes wrong all your efforts will be wasted I don’t want to explain this in detail and I believe you understand what I mean. Just imagine the people who you referred and those people who paid the high price.

Additional Investment (Autoresponder, Clickfunnel, and Paid Ads)

Apart from the membership, there are some additional expenses that will cost you more. Expenses such as autoresponder, ClickFunnels, and Paid Ads. Autoresponder is an important and must-have tool and there is no doubt about it.

Even ClickFunnels is an awesome platform to build your funnels. Often experts used to say the real money is on the list and on the funnel but I am just letting you know there are additional expenses that you need to pay every month.

Selling High Ticket Offers

I am not against selling High Ticket Offers and there are high-quality products available with the high ticket offers but in most cases, the high ticket offers are products with low value but with a higher price.

High ticket offers are not for everyone and many can’t afford it. In these challenging conditions people are struggling even to make small investments and it’s going to be challenging to sell these high ticket offers.

Paid Ads

If you are a newbie by trying paid advertisement you might lose your money. Although Digital Prosperity Movement provides some decent training on Facebook ad campaigns still you need to find the right ad campaigns that bring more leads and profits.

It takes time, effort, money, and experience and that’s the reality and it’s fine. What I am trying to say is… In order to try different campaigns and until you find the right campaign, you need to invest more money.

If the money you make is based on the number of people you recruit and your sales to them, it’s not. It’s a pyramid scheme. Pyramid schemes are illegal, and the vast majority of participants lose money.”

Success Rate Is Very Low With The MLM Business Model

I have tried a few MLM’s in the past and I do have learned about this MLM business model. The MLM business model is legit but the success rate with the MLM business model is very low.

That’s the reason I am not a fan of the MLM business model and I have tried this MLM business model in the past (worked with 3+ MLM companies).

Often the people who promote the MLM business model give you numbers such as if you refer these many people and those members referring these many people and your earnings will be $$$$$ etc. You know what I am talking right. At the end of the day, those are just numbers.

Once I read… MLM distributors are the commissioned employees disguised as entrepreneurs.

I am not against the MLM business model and I am not saying you can’t earn money with MLM. All I am trying to say is the success rate with MLM is very less and many people fail with MLM business.

Among the 26% of people who made money nearly 14% made less than $420 a month (less than $5000 per year). So you can see a very less number of people make money via the MLM business model.

Often they are the people who joined when the company started and who have a big team under them and they are on the top of the ladder.
